Covering and filming highlights of the Los Angeles Food And Wine Festival turned out to be a lot of fun, including filming everything in 4K. I also got to watch Common and even during the soundcheck, he was killing it!

I've had the panasonic GH4 for a few months and it continues to impress me. I didn't initially think that I would use 4k much, but that has certainly changed and I find myself shooting more and more material on 4K. The compression allows for file sizes that are still reasonable and manageable, and it allows for a lot more latitude in post production.

Last night was experimental and fun running live visuals for a new EDM project and filming it for a new music video. Resolume handled everything I threw at it like a champ. We filmed everything in 4k using the panasonic GH4. Video coming soon....

I recorded this track a couple of years ago with the talented vocalist Adam Darling. Finally getting around to mixing the track and looking forward to releasing it soon.
Directing this awesome supercar once it's complete is going to be an exhilarating experience. Meanwhile, we worked on a couple of teaser videos for the official release of the car and got to see a full size CNC machine on the final day of machining of the car's carbon fiber body.
It was a great experience to be hired by Musitek to direct a couple of promotional videos for their new mobile music scanning app. It was nice to have a great DP and assistant director on set using a RED camera and not have to worry about fiddling with the camera!
After spending a couple of days with the Panasonic GH4, I went out for a day in downtown Long Beach and shot some footage to put together a quick video. The GH4 is a great camera and I enjoyed both the 96fps slow-motion and 4k features. The time-lapse footage was done on the GH3 along with the Emotimo TB3.
